The main body material use a four laminate, whilst for additional protection, puncture and abrasion resistance, the knee and seat pads use a 5 layer laminate. There outer layer is "Brushed" to give a soft, rustle free finish and the knee's feature pre-bent pleats for freedom of movement. Seam technology has been improved greatly by using "Bemis" soft waterproof seam tapes. These state of the art seam tapes are softer and much closer to the weight and flex of the main fabric, so you do not get the eventual wear along the edge of the stiffer tape and the fabric itself which is a common cause of leakage overtime, on many makes of wader.
