These knives are hand made by craftsmen whose ancestors have been producing knives in Sheffield by traditional methods since the industry was estabilshed back in the 17th Century
Using CS70 Carbon Steel they achieve a sharper and longer lasting edge to the blades by tempering and hardening to Rockwell hardness of 54/56
All knives have Brass linings and Nickel Silver bolsters and are then finished with a variety of natural coverings of wood or horn
